NYC, Full-Time, In-Person

The Situation

Honcho is ripping. 50x developer growth in three months. 40,000 prosumers and developers. 600+ startups applied to our startup program in eight weeks.

We're a product-coupled neolab dedicated to solving personal identity for the agentic world. The market currently calls what we do memory, but the vision for Honcho is much more ambitious. We build better models of you than you have of yourself. The goal is nothing short of enabling true 1:1 individual alignment for every human extending their cognition and agency with artificial intelligence.

The product wins on merit. But merit isn't always evenly distributed. We're hiring the person who makes Honcho impossible to ignore.

You'll work closely with our GTM, DevRel, and Design Engineers, and scheme actively with our co-founders.

The Job

The product does the hard part. You do the loud part.

Launches. When we ship, you make it a moment--assets, timing, seeding, follow-through. Every launch should leave a mark.

Social. Our voice and vision on the platforms where developers live, and contributions to our part of the AI discourse.

Content. Media that tells Honcho's story and makes its value legible--up to Plastic's editorial standards.

Events. Meetups, hackathons, launches, collabs IRL and distributed.

Artifacts. Videos, demos, objects, merch. Things people love and want because they're awesome.

Iteration. Define and measure what's working, then adapt.

There's a budget for both rapid creative experimentation and longer projects. High agency, low overhead.

You

We don't care where you worked or for how long. We care what you've made and whether it traveled.

  • You can point to things you made that got attention--an account, a video, an event, a product, a bit. Scale matters less than signature.
  • Agent harnesses are how you work--Claude Code, Hermes Agent or equivalent, daily, for real output.
  • Range. You can cut a video, write a thread, run an event, spin up a collab, and ship a page without waiting for a team.
  • Enough technical depth to hold the product in your head: grok code, orchestrate models, reason about LLM systems.
  • High literacy, technical and conceptual, written and spoken.
  • You know Honcho's audience...you are the audience.
  • Taste. You know the difference between attention and noise, and between our voice and someone else's.
  • You believe in the world we're building for and Honcho's place in it.
  • NYC, in person--or ready to move.

Compensation

Apply

Two things:

  1. Stuff you made that got the most attention. Any medium, any scale. Link it and tell us how it happened.
  2. Your record in whatever form it exists--resume, portfolio, GitHub, personal site, etc.
