Position Overview

As Circuit Mind’s Director of Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and leading the company's marketing function. Collaborating closely with the CEO, you will define and implement marketing strategies and execute campaigns that build brand awareness, nurture leads, and drive growth. This is a unique opportunity to shape the marketing direction of an innovative company at a critical stage of its development.

We welcome candidates based in North America or the United Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with the CEO to create a comprehensive marketing strategy, experimenting to identify and prioritise the most effective channels for Circuit Mind.
  • Lead Marketing Campaigns: Develop and execute marketing campaigns across prioritised channels (e.g., email marketing, product marketing, demand generation, content marketing, social media, trade shows) utilising both internal and external resources.
  • Manage External Agencies: Evaluate, onboard, and manage external agencies to effectively execute marketing initiatives that are best performed externally.
  • Establish Thought Leadership: Work closely with the CEO to position Circuit Mind as a thought leader and educate the market about the new category the company has created.
  • Align Marketing and Sales: Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing and sales funnels, nurture leads, define key milestones (such as MQLs and SQLs), and jointly pursue target accounts.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience.
  • Exceptional Writing Skills: Strong, creative, and compelling writing abilities.
  • Proven Track Record: Experience in developing marketing programs from initial experiments to scaling within a growing team.
  • Hands-on Leadership: Ability to both execute hands-on and manage multiple simultaneous campaigns effectively.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to combine first-principles thinking, data-driven approaches and seasoned intuition to solve problems.
  • T-Shaped Expertise: Deep expertise in at least one area of marketing, complemented by broad exposure and experience across other marketing disciplines.

Nice to haves

  • Knowledge of the electronics industry
  • Experience in a Software as a Service (SaaS), Design Software (ECAD, MCAD, Simulation etc.) or Enterprise Software company
